Would Jeremy Corbyn help Labour take Scotland's central belt back from the SNP?Craighttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08741318067991857821noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3272054900018746845.post-23304279296363435172015-08-29T16:39:20.575+01:002015-08-29T16:39:20.575+01:00The focus groups reflect ex Labour Party voters in...The focus groups reflect ex Labour Party voters in Nuneaton and Croydon - a pretty narrow part of the electorate!

It did seem like a stitch up to me. Why not talk to ex Labour voters in Scotland, where the chances of getting some seats back might be a lot better? Are they really an accurate representation of the public mood? What a coincidence that the randomly chosen audience went for the establishment BBC's choice. I imagine not a few of the rank-and-file Beeboids (and all the wealthy comedians and celebrity presenters) had the same reaction as the Twitterati.

That'll be more "complaints from both sides", then. Asking if Corbyn may not be the best candidate for leader is a Tory agenda? The exact opposite is the case, I should think.

Of course this is part of the establishment BBC's anti-Corbyn agenda. They've only been building up to this in a number of broadcasts - much of which you've blogged about (Marr, Newsnight, Dateline) - carefully trying to build the case that, although Corbyn's unapologetic neo-Marxism is lovely and something to which we should all aspire, he can't win a general election.David Preisernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3272054900018746845.post-299763039911758342015-08-29T12:41:42.360+01:002015-08-29T12:41:42.360+01:00Yes, here are a couple of his gems:

A woman too, which is doubleplus good.

Any chance of a link to the Twitterer claiming James O'Brien is a Tory? I want to gawp in disbelief. Not sure why the BBC has to bring in outside lefties when it has an abundance of in-house lefties to do the job. Especially Newsnight.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
