Or the council home that would have gone to someone in housing need in this country? If the latter, her compassion is contemptible. Bias, pure and simple. This is beyond considering the humanity of one's subject and has become advocacy. She's only paying lip service to thinking seriously about the issues at hand.David Preisernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3272054900018746845.post-33290678276705265442015-09-19T14:19:21.475+01:002015-09-19T14:19:21.475+01:00I am not so inclined to give Lyse a free pass.
...I am not so inclined to give Lyse a free pass.

Another way of summarising Doucet's report is "A lot of people aren't really refugees or they are just lying about being refugees." - because that is the truth of the matter. If they can't put in plain language, then we shouldn't be patting them on the back. They are more than happy to put people's suffering in stark terms, so it's not as though they are incapable of stark language.

The fact is the BBC and other news agencies are putting the wellbeing of hundreds of millions of Europeans of non-Muslim background (from all ethnicities) at serious risk by misreporting the migrant invasion - just as they put our foreign policy into a tailspin when they misreported the Arab spring (remember all that nonsense about a democratic awakening based on respect for human rights in the Arab world).

If it wasn't so important we could ignore what they do in the same way people ignore the ravings of extreme left playwrights.

But sadly news reporting has real world effects.
