He should have had that quote ready from the BBC website about Sadiq Khan campaigning in support of (subsequently) convicted terrorist support Babar Ahmed. <br /><br />Sadiq Khan used to be far more beholden to the local Mosques back in the past (when he was doing things like supporting Babar Ahmad). It may be Gani was punishing Khan for distancing himself from the Mosques by campaigning (through the Mosques) against him in the General Election. Apparently he claims he "supplied" canvassers for the Conservatives. That shows you (a) how Sharia supporters operate (by offering support en masse) (b) how very politicised people who work for Sharia are. <br /><br />Who knows what the truth is? What happens in Mosques is a closed book. We've no idea what is being taught to children there in reality, for instance. No detailed syllabuses are published. <br /><br />The only principle being followed here is the ultimate triumph of Sharia law.
