Not really promoting or bigging up Osborne at all. By "staff will be galvanized", surely Rajan meant they'd feel a new sense of political purpose, assuming his predictions for what Osborne will do as editor are correct. The context was about that rather than presenting Osborne as some great leader. Also, it's fair to say he "took charge" of rebuilding, as that's what happened. Rajan did not say he did it very well or that he saved the world like other Beeboids did about Gordon Brown.<br /><br />Those vox pops, on the other hand....Rule #1 in effect? That would be evidence of pro-Osborne bias.<br /><br />The whole thing is unseemly, though. Apparently he only applied for the job after several people asked him to help with their own applications for it.
