As Home Secretary it was the same thing: no info, coordinated talking points and little else from staff, then blame someone else if it doesn't go to plan. Amber Rudd has already demonstrated her ability to follow orders and say whatever she's told regardless of whether or not it's a good idea.

Marr must have gotten a lot of Corbynista complaints last week and tried to make up for it by challenging (a bit) Owen Smith.

Of course there must be feelers going out from all sides, although nothing can be settled at all until Article 50 happens. So it was always going to be nebulous at this point no matter who's in charge. Do I trust May to actually see through a real Brexit? No.

I had a good laugh at Polly Toynbee saying May was "supposed to be a safe pair of hands". What a giveaway. Seemed like she caught herself and tried to swallow the words after they came out.

As for Milne and the allegations of him trying to remove that holiday greeting from a speech, Labour and the BBC better hope it's not true, because otherwise it's a de facto admission that Judaism = Zionism, and demolishes their argument that anti-Israel cannot be connected to anti-Semitism in anyway.David Preiser (USA)https://www.blogger.com/profile/00055001852090086556noreply@blogger.com
