Sites dealing with BBC bias have a horrible tendency to get bogged down in quasi- or actual conspiracy theory.<br /><br />I'd not read that about Dr Robertson calling it a "minor imbalance" before. That adds weight to his work and rather detracts from those who exploited it. The author of the report has explicitly stated that this is a "minor imbalance" and that "these things don't happen because people are conspiring" yet what should be a reasonable report that could go into improving broadcast standards was turned into a quasi-conspiracy theory, where the entirety of the mainstream media was presumed to be waging a secret war against independence.<br /><br />Balance, reason, logic, evidence - these are the things the independence debate lacked on both sides and now it's over I hope we can ditch the hyperbole/populism and start being reasonable again.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
