I don't follow twitter but those that do often pick up on (apparently) very dodgy stuff from David Lammy MP. Ditto with Ms Brand, it isn't so much what she said but her expectation (and the BBC's) that she would get away with it. Just imagine if Boris had said it!<br /><br />Actually something not brought up re. Brand was her preamble, the bit about the hated politicians. When did that become OK? But it works! 'Everyone' knows that Trump and Farage are 'racist', but who has any evidence? Answer: No-one, because they aren't, but 'everyone' has heard 'someone' on the BBC etc. say it so it 'must' be true!<br /><br />The media are killing (have killed) political debate, but esentially on one side. Consequently 'Conservatives' don't offer 'conservative' policies but stress how 'socialist' they really are. And THAT is why the media etc. do it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
