It generally opposes, ridicules, undermines or ignores nationalists, monarchists, conservatives, free marketeers, stay-at-home mums, and hard left communists. <br /><br />The solution to BBC bias I think is two-fold - reform the appointments system so it stops being a self-perpetuating bureaucracy and bring in a pin no. system for licence fee payers so we can allocate part of our licence fee to particular programme proposals via a dedicated website. <br /><br />So if Peter Hitchens, Roger Scruton or Richard Littlejohn or whoever wants to make a TV programme, all they would have to do was put together a proposal and then persuade sufficient licence fee payers it is worth making. <br /><br />Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
