Cheers at the BBC

Well, Margaret Hodge's especially aggressive grilling of ex-BBC man Mark Thompson is unlikely to have gone down too badly with the current staff at the BBC itself (nor with her BBC employee daughter, presumably). 

We certainly know that's the case for her other main target, HR manager Lucy Adams.

The Mail reports a tweet from Nick Higham, the BBC's media correspondent:

There was an audible cheer in the BBC newsroom when Margaret Hodge accused BBC HR director Lucy Adams of lying to the PAC.’ 

Such an impartial bunch, aren't they!
