Less heat, more light

In fairness (and to properly balance out my moaning)...

Though the initial report conspicuously avoided noting the polling evidence showing that Anglicans are significantly more right-leaning than their leadership (politically-speaking) and rather implying (via the weighting of its contributors) that religious believers lean leftwards, this morning's Sunday did provide its listeners with a wholly (and holy) engaging discussion on 'religion and politics' between likable Labour MP Stephen Timms (well, I like him anyway - so if he's said something untoward about something, tough!) and decent Conservative blogger Tim Montgomerie.
