Born that way

I haven’t quite finished with TBQs yet. Did anyone else wonder what the bearded would-be polygamist Azad Chaiwala thinks about homosexuality? Only, when he justified his desire for multiple wives (because he was “born that way”, ) did he even realise that he was appropriating “the Gay argument”.

Mustn’t laugh, but he was seated next to Guardianista Dawn Foster, another of the BBC’s current favourite social affairs commentators.

Would the wives be fighting for more of his attention or less of it, one wonders. I quite hope he gets his way, and the wives gang up on him having inevitably realised what a plonker he is.

  1. I have respect for that man. I might not be a polygamy follower but that man sure knows how to stand up for what he believes and yup all his arguments were logical.

  2. I can't watch TBQ, but I hope at least someone pointed out that there is a difference between being brought up that way and being born that way.
How sad that we have reached a point where we have so little confidence in our own culture and Western civilisation in general, that we can’t say that something is unacceptable for fear of causing offence.

...and yet here you are. You and many others complaining of exactly that, writing blogs saying the things they cannot say. You can't even call Christmas "Christmas" any more. Bloody liberals, they're the Nazis now, we should shut them up and ship them out. Etc etc. Knock knock.

  4. I’m not altogether sure who you are suggesting should be shut up and shipped out, but that is not an answer to anything. I don’t have a problem with people expressing views that I disagree with, perhaps even find obnoxious, if I am able to freely rebut those views. The problem is precisely that people are being shut up.
