Love and hate

I wonder what would happen if any London based participants in The Great Get Together in honour of Jo Cox bumped into the Al Quds march in honour of Iran and Hezbollah as it parades through central London tomorrow?

Would they pipe up with chants of:
"we have more in common than that which divides us” while the Al Quds brigade retaliate with “Jews to the gas”?

These sentiments are not mutually exclusive, are they? In fact they may complement each other.

The BBC is aware of the former celebration, but apparently not of the latter. It will be interesting to see how (and if) they report these events, particularly Al Quds, should there be ‘trouble’.
Which event to attend? Jeremy Corbyn must be torn.

  1. Pleased to note we had a local road closure for a Jo Cox party...there appeared to be about two people out supporting it.

Not everyone who gets shot at or otherwise subject to a lethal attack is a good role model...one can think of George Wallace, Hendrik Verwoerd and Vladimir Lenin - all of whom were subject to attacks by people who wanted to kill them.

Sorry, but I and I am sure most people are not going to suspend their judgement just because the BBC and sundry other propaganda outfits tell us we have to.

I don't wish to speak ill of the dead, especially one whose life was so cruelly and wrongfully cut short , and so I won't but let's speak ill of Millionaire Bob Geldof (her fellow campaigner) shouting obscenities at hard working honest fisher folk at their demonstration on the Thames.
We can never forget that people like Geldof wanted us to just open our doors to anyone claiming asylum from abroad and so creating a huge terror risk, of the sort we saw realised in the Manchester Arena. Such people, leading such comfortable, cosseted lives, are beneath contempt.

  2. Bump into each other? You mean looking in a mirror?
