I’m sorry Tony Hall is leaving the BBC. He’s been a steadying force & a good friend. The next few years will be pretty torrid for the BBC, & it may well not survive past 2027 in any recognisable form.— John Simpson (@JohnSimpsonNews) January 20, 2020
It's certainly bad news for John...he may not survive past 2027 as the BBC's non-reporting but much-tweeting World Affairs Editor.
ReplyDeleteI wondered what the Other John, Mad John, thinks about it all? Probably reckons it's all a Kremlin Conspiracy.
To answer my own question...Mad John is still bitter!

He's a good friend because he kept me in this cushy job past my usefulness in any meaningful sense.
