Lost for words

The Times has an interview today with BBC Radio 4's new controller Mohit Bakaya.

The funniest part of it came when Matthew Moore of The TImes raised the subject of new Radio 4 comedy, asking "When did Radio 4 last launch a format that actually made people laugh?" Mohit couldn't name any. He had to email Matthew later.

Says it all really.

  1. That's a good question - the equivalent of "How much does a pint of milk cost?" for politicians. Another good one would be "How many programmes have you had on Radio 4 with a positive outlook on Brexit?"
