Wow! Andrew Neil read this tweet from Have I Got News For You's Twitter feed mocking The Brexit Party...
Britain left embarrassed by juvenile behaviour of Saga Holidays group on coach-trip to Brussels: pic.twitter.com/2fsLYCr1JD— Have I Got News For You (@haveigotnews) January 30, 2020
...and replied:
Wow. You’re even less funny than my This Week monologues. And you have scriptwriters. Maybe time to pack it in?
It's all go as far as the BBC falling apart goes at the moment!
Craig fix your typo .. "relied"
ReplyDeleteTa. I'm making a habit of typos.
DeleteThe Brexit Party has probably been one of the most successful minority parties of all time. HIGNFY don't like that for sure. :)
ReplyDeleteI totally agree M.B.
DeleteI actually went off HIGNFY even more so when I read that Hislop gets £42,000 for his appearances on the show.
I sure hope they mean payment for each season and not each episode as in the Linekar bracket.
So it's Black armbands later today at the BBC.
H-A-P-P-Y L-E-A-V-I-N-G T-H-E E.U D-A-Y TODAY!
John....North London.
Ian Hislop is 59. Paul Merton is 62. Joining age for Saga; 50. Perhaps whoever writes their tweets hadn't noticed?
ReplyDelete[Oh crikey, I've been eligible to join for a lot longer than I thought! :-(]
What is 'Have I Got News For You' but ageing juvenile silliness?
