Pause for Thought


Here's an interesting way of looking at the events of the past 24 hours from author of The Northumbrians Dan Jackson: 
This Maitlis furore is an almost perfect example - as per Jonathan Haidt - of the futility of much modern political debate, with both sides completely talking past each other. “She should be impartial!”, “so what, she was right!” etc etc ad inifinitum ...
There's some truth in that I think.
