One thing that struck me on reading this top story on the BBC News website, besides wondering why it's a top story for the BBC, is that the report Marjorie Taylor Greene: Twitter bans congresswoman over Covid misinformation omits the the Republican lawmaker's reaction to her Twitter ban:
When Maxine Waters can go to the streets and threaten violence on Twitter, Kamala and Ilhan can bail out rioters on Twitter, and Chief spokesman for terrorist IRGC can tweet mourning Soleimani but I get suspended for tweeting VAERS statistics, Twitter is an enemy to America and can't handle the truth. That's fine, I'll show America we don't need them and it's time to defeat our enemies.
There are certainly double standards when it comes to who Twitter censors and who Twitter doesn't censor. And when it comes to who the BBC quotes and who the BBC doesn't quote.
The BBC report itself reads like the case for the prosecution.
