End of the (date)line


End of an era on Dateline London today. It was Gavin Esler's final show. He announced that he's leaving the BBC. He was there at the very start of the BBC News Channel (looking a wee bit younger).

    Another one retiring to become the chancellor of a university. Weird. Can Dateline get any worse with a new presenter?

      Ken may be interested, but is also committed to a History Channel series on Churchill.
