Judging from Katty Kay's comments today on Beyond 100 Days, "slimmed down" means "we're all going to be working even more hours in BBC pay-time on our books, in the hope that we produce a Christmas best seller which makes us half a million." Katty's now at home working on her second.
Reduce BBC by 75% to only public broadcasting and get rid of the "talent".It does everything to put doubt and fear into people. Its pieces on schools are a classic.
