It concerns the independent', 'widely-respected' Institute for Fiscal Studies - treated as impartial, final-word-on-the-matter given judges of everything from the Budget to the costs and benefits of the UK's EU membership by the BBC (and, it seems, almost everyone else).
Did you know that it has received what looks to me like pretty substantial funding from the European Commission?
