Technical message

Just a warning...

Our comments system may look slightly different today. It's gone 'full page' to try and sort out a glitch whereby we can't comment on our own blog.

It probably won't work (he says, pessimistically).

Update: And Sue tells me that a vexatious 'Not a Robot' thing is coming up. Sorry. And any Kraftwerk fans, please don't feel put off by that. Herzlich willkommen!

Please bear with us.

Further update: Things have returned to normal, for the time being. Kraftwerk fans may appreciate that neither Sue nor myself are feeling much 'Computerliebe' at the moment.

  1. Well, if they are watching, I advise them to remove "a misogynist" in Frank Gardner's post re the Arab world's reaction to Trump. It makes Gardner look comedic. I mean, would a misogynistic region really abhor Trump for despising the female of the species? C'mon, Frank, you're having a laugh, aren'tcha?:
"From Cairo to Qatar, the US presidential candidate once derided as impulsive, an Islamophobe and a misogynist appears to have turned into the Arab world's most popular US president since George H W Bush led the liberation of Kuwait from Iraqi occupation in 1991." http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-39581911
