For the sake of balance...

Of course, for Corbynista critics of BBC bias this past week's Newsnight has mainly been notable for the use, on Tuesday's edition of the programme, of the following photoshopped image:

They were not happy at all about the implied comparison between Mr Corbyn and Mr Trump and the mocking mock-up shown throughout the programme's opening section.

As most of us are very unlikely to follow Corbynistas on Twitter, this is the kind of thing they regularly share and 'like' (and guess who its main target is!):

    1. Good questions.

My guess is the BBC's response will go something like this:

"While, if, and to the extent that the BBC holds the information you have requested for, it is excluded from the Act because it is held for the purposes of ‘journalism, art or literature.’ The BBC is therefore not obliged to provide this information to you and will not be doing so on this occasion."

  2. That cartoon is classic Complaints From Both Sides fodder.

Sometimes certain people at the BBC are pretty obviously anti-Corbyn, and other times Corbyn torpedoes himself because he's an extremist loon. Sometimes it's a case of both, like the recent slow car crash he had with Humphrys on Today before his big speech.

But they are never pro-Tory. It won't occur to insane Corbynistas that most at the BBC just want Labour to be electable again.
