The BBC has been widely criticised today for writing that "Hundreds gathered in Parliament Square to celebrate Brexit, singing patriotic songs and cheering speeches from leading Brexiteers, including Nigel Farage" in their main onloine report.
Many a photo and video has been shared online showing it was thousands, not hundreds.
Well, hours and hours and horus passed but Newsniffer reveals that, after passing through 14 earlier versions, the BBC two hours ago (1.02 pm, this afternoon) edited the report and changed it to "Thousands gathered in Parliament Square to celebrate Brexit, singing patriotic songs and cheering speeches from leading Brexiteers, including Nigel Farage".
Better late than never, possibly.
