Emily Maitlis, asking Labour's Lisa Nandy about immigration on last night's Newsnight, talked of "voter fears in Wigan and other places...". Wouldn't it have been more impartial to have talked of "voter concerns in Wigan and other places"? Fears are such irrational things.
