Spin-room drama

I knew it! I knew it all along!

“My attention wandered till Barry Gardiner came on. Garry Bardiner. Barry Gardiner painstakingly explained, as if to a class of severely mentally disadvantaged infants, the Labour Party’s policy on the single market and the Customs Union. I think he’s saying we want the best possible deal. We will be leaving the EU by the way. Let me be clear. What we want, what people voted for, what we’re trying to do, each “what” enunciated with a kindly but slightly patronising Barry Gardiner whoosh. When challenged about Jared O”Mara’s and John McDonnell’s obnoxiously misogynistic remarks  a steely look came into his eyes that sent a chill down my spine. Gentle Barry has a nasty side.

And here’s a glimpse of that nasty side. If the Labour Party manages to wrest power from the Jaws of the Tories’  fluctuating 11 point lead, we’ll be seeing a lot more of it, God help us one and all.

Love the way the cameraman yanked Christian Fraser into position, backwards, by the coat-tails. Pity no-one yanked Gardiner -  if only for the sake of symmetry and balance.

Shocking to see that most of the responses were from Labour supporters.   This country is  ****ed

  1. This country could be well and truly ****ed if things go wrong on Thursday. There seems to be a misguided notion afloat that a Corbyn government would be a kind of a rerun of the chaotic Michael Foot era politics. But Corbyn effectively heads a movement - not Labour, but Momentum - which is much more like a Bolshevik insurrectionary force: well disciplined and focussed on seizing state power.

Also, Labour has by trial and error discovered an effective electoral strategy which wasn't available in the mid 80s. They can ignore their traditional base, steal Remain voters from the Lib Dems and import millions more migrants who become Labour voters, while also enfranchising teenagers.

If Labour-Momentum take power, expect: open borders, migration reaching over 10 million per decade, votes for all residents (including non UK nationals) and 16 year olds, huge increase in trade union power, rampant anti-semitism, legislation to prevent all criticism of Islam, further erosion of free speech, and citizens assemblies used like soviets to control policy formulation.

Also expect a huge economic crisis when the election promises smash into the buffers of reality (despite what Chris Morris might tell you). But Momentum types will see that crisis as their opportunity to introduce "real socialism".

A real disaster looms, but note how the BBC - in contrast to its endless publicity for Project Fear pro-EU talking points - ignores this disaster scenario.
