Is Andrew Marr right?
In terms of what Labour can do about this, at this stage in the campaign they obviously can't change their leader, but the offer to WASPI women, to a lot of women, a lot of money to a lot of women who are very angry, seemed to me to be a very, very clever election move indeed and could change things.
The polls would suggest he was right as they are moving in Labour's direction. Making promises that aren't manifesto pledges, or in any sense funded, is an old trick.
ReplyDeleteOddly... given her abilities in politics appear to be passing on Corbyn sponsored facebook posts of BBC staff edits... in the hustings, our Labour PPC did not go near this despite being a) Female, b) Old c) An Ex teacher.
ReplyDeleteNor have I heard much about it since from her party since launch either since every social media post saw it trashed.
