Historian and novelist Allan Mallinson was listening to Radio 4's Today this morning and heard Jon Sopel talking of "the toxic legacy that Donald Trump leaves behind".
Brig. Mallinson tweeted:
Might it help convince people that the BBC is impartial if such as the BBC's Jon Sopel abjured use of adjectives, especially ones like “toxic”?
