It must be half a century of living with the BBC but I tend to think of Friday night as being Music Night. And I should have posted this yesterday on that very night. It's one of my favourite pieces of music - the Election Scene from Mussorgsky's opera Boris Johnson. Please look for the moment, one-and-a-half minutes in, when Huw Edwards rushes in to announce the exit poll. (Gawd help us when Carole Catwalladr spots a possible Kremlin influence here).
