From outer space

To paraphrase Kodos from The Simpsons (cunningly disguised as as speechifying Bill Clinton)...

I say we must go onwards, not sideways; downwards, not onwards; and keep twirling, twirling...er...blogging against BBC bias until either the BBC stops being biased or an asteroid hits the earth or (whichever comes first)...

The asteroid hitting the earth scenario might come sooner than we think. It was among Bridget Kendall's wilder predictions for 2016 on last night's BBC Correspondents Look Ahead. 

Looking on the bright side though, Bridget thought that asteroid (along with other forms of natural catastrophe) might focus the human race's mind and make us all stand back and bit and stop bickering. 

Well, it might happen.
