Praise from Andrew Marr

Praise from Andrew Marr for Jess Phillips this morning:
It is no disrespect to any of the other candidates to say that the Birmingham Yardley backbencher, Jess Phillips, is one of the most charismatic MPs in Parliament.

  1. That's the kiss of death for her then.

  2. Well I did ask on the Open Thread which way it would go. Would it be Jessomania, Stormin' Starmer, Yet Still Yvette or Nandy Pandy (may have overlooked Lady Haughty of Five Chins and Clive "Lewd" Lewis)? They're not going to back Glove-Puppet Bailey.

So Marr has come out as a Jessomane? Wonder how she would have reacted to his old hand-down-the-back-of- the-jeans routine? Could have been time to play The Nutcracker Suite...

Personally I think she is nasty, brutish and short on intelligence.

As I never tired of reminding people, this so-called "moderate" has seriously proposed prior vetting by the Electoral Commission to prevent anyone not fully committed to PC multiculturalism from standing as a parliamentary candidate. That is far worse than anything proposed by anyone on the Corbynista wing (which isn't to say they wouldn't do it themselves, just they are more intelligent and don't say it out loud in public on record).

I think in the end, the BBC will settle on Stormin' Starmer as their Star.

  3. From lauding cuddly uncle John to admiring magnetic Jessie, Marr's getting worse.

  4. Did she have a missing mobile or keys in her back pocket too?
