The Muslim Council of Britain-backed "alternative to Prevent", Safe and Secure, was launched on Thursday at the controversial East London Mosque and Radio 4's Sunday gave it some free publicity this morning. The programme interviewed one of its founders, former Chief Superintendent with the Met Police Dal Babu - a prominent critic of Prevent. Except for reading out a Home Office statement defending Prevent, presenter Emily Buchanan gave Mr. Babu a free ride.
