Further to yesterday's post, where the BBC's chosen image was classroom of young children (mostly girls) with the loaded caption "Unrwa provides critical services, including education and health care", it's now all girls. The loaded caption remains the same though:
ITV is still sticking with a less loaded image of adult protestors in a scene of confrontation:
Update: Ah, the BBC has now changed its image and its caption. It's another child, of course (this time a distressed one), but the loaded word 'critical' has been removed from the caption:
They seem to have an inexhaustible supply of images designed to pluck at the heart strings...the front page currently has image of Palestinian children walking past bags of food.
