One of the things about blogging is that even if you've got absolutely nothing to say you still feel impelled to say something. So, here goes!...
The quiz on this morning's otherwise delightful Broadcasting House featured the alarm calls of sundry angry blackbirds (my favourite birds). What news event of the week did they remind Radio 4 listeners of?
My immediate thought was, oh, it must be something to do with the hysterical squawking of many on the Left at the general election result (which, if you're so inclined, you may also extend to the BBC). Or, alternatively, something to do with Labour's Blair-Brown-Revisited comeback tour...
...but, no, it turned out that the answer was something to do with UKIP infighting.
Yep, that's the best I've got I'm afraid.
Fancy Lionel Barber of the FT saying that the great post-war Ealing comedies were "dire" though!
Oh, and fancy Suzanne Evans of UKIP, on The Andrew Marr Show, denouncing Breitbart London (James Delingpole's favourite haunt) as "far-right"!
