Delirious, even gloating, too - if Nick Higham's BBC News website piece is anything to go by.

His opening paragraph, all in bold, runs as follows:

And after 'behaving condescendingly' towards Mr Whittingdale there, what do you make of this, contrasting the ideological Mr W with "more pragmatic Tories" who appreciate the wonderfulness of the beloved BBC?

Impartial? I think not.
