Last night's Newsnight had a very 'Newsnight' balance of guests talking about the midterm elections in the US. It was a 'classic' 5:1 ratio - i.e. five critics of Mr. Trump's Republicans versus one supporter. The final pairing of guests, Simon Schama and David Frum (Mr. Trump's most vociferous critic on the right), was particularly 'inspired'' as they each agreed with each other about everything.
