And she followed that up with this:
It’s interesting that the producer of Newswatch chose to edit out my wink to the camera when I said Goodbye at the end of this recording. I wonder why.
I'm guessing she'll be complaining to Points of View about that.
Whether it gets aired depends very much on BBc editorial integrity.

"Christmas election"...hmmm, sounds like someone is doing Labour's work for them. It's a December election, not a Christmas election.
ReplyDeletePersonally I think Samira Ahmed's ego has become so inflated that you would have expected it to go pop by now.
We know what Samira will want from election coverage, based on previous statements: no reports, interviews or panels involving Nigel Farage. However, that is somewhat at odds with BBC policy now which is to beef up the Brexit Party in the hope it damages the "Tories".
The bottom line is that win or lose the case, Samira’s pay packet and career will be the winner.

ReplyDeleteIs there a special counter that differentiates between "viewers" and "licence fee-paying viewers" ?
Even if you only count UK viewers, some will be over 75 and therefore on a free licence.
