The Muslim community, I presume, really, you're thinking of?

Ah, one place where you can pretty much guarantee left-liberal bias during The Andrew Marr Show is during the weekly interview with a celebrity - and this week's edition certainly gave us some of that, with Helen Mirren giving us her view of the use of drones by Western governments (she's not a fan) and on so-called Islamophobia in the light of two of her recent films.

The 'Islamophobia' angle, from what I can see, came directly from the mind of the BBC's Andrew Marr here. It appears to have been his choice to link the films theme - McCarthyism - with the present-day debate in the U.S.:
Andrew Marr: But I wonder to what extent it's also a parable about modern America, and excluding people, and going for victims? No longer communists but, perhaps, other communities - he said carefully?
Helen Mirren: Yes, that's interesting. The Muslim community, I presume, really...?
Andrew Marr: Yes. Yes.
Helen Mirren: ...you're thinking of?
Andrew Marr: Yes. I'm thinking about aspects of the current....
Helen Mirren: The scaremongering, of witch-hunting. erm...Yes, I think...I mean, I don't like to say it's specifically American because I think all countries, all nationhoods if you like, are susceptible to that kind of attitude.

  1. Whatever you think of McCarthy's personal character or his methods, most historians agree today there was a Communist conspiracy against the US government involving placement of agents in all major branches of government.
There is definitely an Islamic conspiracy to replace our system of government with Sharia, it just involves more actors and is less organised than Moscow's conspiracy.
